Opening up the file and then going through the boring job of clicking file, print and selecting settings can be rather slow, for lower spec computers. If you follow the instructions bellow I will show you a way that makes printing as easy as dragging and dropping, literally.

First of all make sure your printer is fully installed.

Now click on the Start button, go to Settings amd then Printers.Once the printer window opens press and hold Ctrl and drag theprinter icon onto your desktop.

To use the shortcut all you need to do is drag any files you wish to print over the shortcut and drop them there. This will print them without moving their location and also without you having to open the file.
